Not only should Briggs retire, but Vitali should retire too. I know, I know, he beat Briggs down with ease however he should have KO'd him and couldn't. The fact Briggs made it to the final bell says that Vitali is getting a little long in the tooth and doesn't have his KO power anymore. Remember, Lennox Lewis KO'd a prime Briggs in 5 rounds and he goes the distance with Vitali. I have nothing against Vitali but unless he can get David Haye to stop hiding and fight him, I think he should retire....
