Okey guys, here is the interview by DZBB radio in Manila with Manny Pacquiao after his 4th-round TKO win over Fahsan 3K-Battery of Thailand. I wrote this down and translated in English.
This was from live-feed over the net this morning.

DZBB: Manny, I want to congratulate you on your win tonight against 3K Battery.

Manny: First of all I want to thank God Almighty, my family, the president (Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo), the fans, and all the people who supported me in this fight. I am dedicating my win in honor of our country. All Filipinos won this fight. Let us all raise the Filipino flag to show how happy and honored we are for our victory.

I also want to greet everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

DZBB: Did you struggle in this fight?

Manny: No, I didn’t. I was in great shape and relaxed the whole fight. I have never felt so confident. Our plan was to KO him and that was I wanted to do. During the fight, I was really anxious to use both of my hands especially during the 4th round where I ko’ed him.

DZBB: You used some new weapon in this fight, something that we didn’t see in your previous fights.

Manny: Yes that left uppercut that finished him off was a new weapon. I actually threw some right cross but a few of them missed. I couldn’t floor him with it. I threw combinations of right jobs, right hooks, right crosses, and left uppercuts. I surprised him with my left uppercuts.

DZBB: What can you say about the fourth round?

Manny: I really wanted to knock him with my right hand, especially by the right hooks but I missed him many times. I knew I startled him. I tried to use my right hand more but he was able to defend well. We were throwing punches at the same time and some of my punches landed on his gloves. I don’t want the fight to go to distance so I tried hitting him with my left, and it was the two uppercuts that did the job.

DZBB: I saw that you he hit you with a right hook. Were you hurt?

Manny: Yes he did but I wasn’t hurt. I tried to throw good combinations at him but hit his gloves from his counters instead.

DZBB: I want to thank you for donating some of your hard-earned money to calamity victims and I say that it was generous and good of you to lend a helping hand during a time like this. What motivated you to do that?

Manny: In all my fights, these people always pray for my success, now it’s my time to turn the favor back.

DZBB: You next fight is against Marquez in February, I’m concerned that you might lay low from your training after your win tonight especially that Christmas is coming.

Manny: No, there’s no let up in my training and I will make sure that I will train harder even during the holidays up to February. This is an important fight for me and I will be in excellent condition. I’m coming and they better be prepared.

DZBB: Do you think Fahsan is still a Filipino Destroyer after tonight?

Manny: (Laughing) No I think, it’s over for him. That title doesn’t suit him anymore.

DZBB: Any plans from here on:

Manny: I will fly to LA in January to continue my training for the Marquez fight in February 26.

DZBB: Manny, thanks for your time ang congratulations once again.

Manny: I want to thank again everybody who helped me win tonight, especially God, my family, the president and all the fans. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
      Great job, pal! Thanks!

Some new weapons in his arsenal, eh? Good! Marquez, should be adding some to his as well, otherwise...

Manny should not get discouraged about not landing much of his new right hooks on Fahsan. He just needs to work more on it. That would come in handy-- even, vital-- in February. He needs to be two-fisted vs JMM. He can use it as a feint, as well, to set up his left. I hope he adds a stiffer jab ( something reminscent of Holmes' jabs) to complete the package.

Earlier, I read somewhere on the net that Roach had been quoted as saying, Manny is learning to pivot well as he throws his right. When he gets to do it with consistency, his right can be even more lethal than his left, Roach reportedly added.

Now,that's really scary!!! That may send many of Pac's prospective foes crawling into the nearest holes!

Some flips were saying that fahsan went down 6 times but it wasn't confirmed. they said manny was surprised that fahsan literally went up the air from the left uppercut that finished the thai.

          wow...that's power!

Just got a call from a friend in Manila, who claimed to have shelled out 10,500 pesos for a "Patron" seat. He said, Fahsan was down IN EVERY ROUND EXCEPT THE FIRST! He told me, Pac floored Fahsan once in the second, once in the third (right at the bell but was given the mandatory count, because IBF rules for "eliminators" were in effect) and twice in the fourth. He said, the first KD (in the second round) was from two quick rights to Fahsan's forehead! RIGHTS?!

Those fight ending-power displays, however, were left uppercuts, he added. But they were set up by right-hook feints of which Fahsan has had a few! So Fahsan was trying to defend for right hooks when the left uppercuts got him!

            WOW!!! An even better Pac?!!!

The story I got from the phone coversation was that Fahsan went down 4 times. But, right, he was lifted (reportedly) off his feet with a left uppercut in the 3rd KD (4th round). A FOOT HIGH, twas said! It's a Marvel that he got up from that! (But only to fall again such seconds later from a duplicate copy of that first left uppercut!)

                  super delayed telecast

The telecast of the Pacquiao vs 3K is horrible. It's a shame the citizens in the Philippines could only watch the match
1 hour and 30 minutes delayed considering the fight was staged at the National Capital Region. It's like watching a marathon of commercials and you can only have a short break by watching 1 round then back to another tele-series of commercials.

The Hopkins vs Dela Hoya bout, and the Morales-Barrera match that happened in USA was also telecast in Philippines but it was only delayed by 5 rounds or 30 minutes. Poor Filipino fans, at the mercy of Solar Sports Channel, the official broadcaster of the fight.
