Bute will only fight Ward if it's in Montreal with his Canadian referees that give him 20-25 seconds to recover from a knockout punch.

Ward likes Oakland, Bute likes Montreal.

I think the champs can dictate where they fight.

I always believe in a man taking a belt from a man in his hometown.

        Screw the neutral location.

Go and get it, if you want it.

I believe this is what happens when biased hometown referees are at play...

Its in Butes opponents interest to fight him in Montreal. Why fight him at a neutral location and get 1/3 of the money?

              I like it.

Biased refs let Ward headbutt too.

              All is fair.

When Kenny Kost dropped Ward, the refs were nice about it too..

I really don't like Bute. Ever since that BS in the first Andrade fight... I know, I know, he won by spectacular KO in the rematch but that doesn't change the fact that Andrade got screwed in the first fight. Maybe I shouldn't hold that against Bute but I do.

Kenny Kost? BoxRec says it's Darnell Boone, but no video exists as far as I know. All I've seen is pictures.

My point is there is an overwhelming contingent on here that has fooled BoxingScene into believing that Ward only fights at home with crooked referees protecting his backside.

The reality is, Bute is the one that always fights at home, Bute is the one that has actually been saved of a KO loss by the referee, and Bute is the one that typically fights a lower level of opponent.

Yet Bute gets props on here. Now I know why this happens, but it doesn't mean that I'm not gonna try to stop it.

I wanna be clear. I love the fight but it's even in Andre Ward's best interest to have it in Montreal.

Bute brings in bank and HBO will buy it anyways.

And if Ward gets that ass in Montreal, all the better.

It would do worse in the USA.
