    See, to me that says they're doing the right thing going this slowly. All of the physical ability is there, the experience isnt. As a fan Im glad he had a fight like that.

      I think thats part of the strategy, though: move him along slowly enough that he never has to fight the Klitschkos. Keep in mind, dominant as they are those dudes are old.

          Good experience for wilder,He needs fights like this.He will only grow from
          this experience.David haye has been knocked out in the amatuers and pro
          game and still became a champion.

            I forgot he even existed to be honest.American olympic prospects dont get any coverage anymore.Andre Ward won a gold in 2004 and look how long he spent under the radar.Pretty embarrassing really

              In a way it's good that he's gotten knocked down this early in his career, now he knows how to get back up and recoup, but in a way it's bad because he's really not supposed to hit the canvas against these guys.

                      It' better that he gets knocked down now and learns from it, that going into the big fights in the future unprepared.
