I'm saying your logic is flawed. You're saying Lacy is better than Ward because everyone picked Lacy to beat calzaghe, when likely 75% of the people who were picking lacy to win never even seen calzaghe fight before and/or had no idea who he was.

lacy never deserved the hype he got. Who did he beat? He never beat anyone as good as kessler that's for sure.

Furthermore, even if lacy was as good as he was hyped to be (the next mike tyson!? lol) styles make fights. Lacy has the perfect style for calzaghe to exploit to the fullest, which joe did wonderfully.

Ward on the other hand is a versatile fighter, he's not one dimensional like Lacy. He can fight inside or outside, he can box, he can be physical, etc.
