Comments Thread For: Ward vs Bika 'Basically Done' - Not Part of The Super Six

Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the negotiations have advised BoxingScene.com that a deal is "basically done" for WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (22-0, 13KOs) to defend his titles against Sakio Bika on November 27 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Both sources advised BoxingScene that Ward-Bika "will not be part of the Super Six" Boxing Classic.

Then...what is the Super 6? Froch-Abraham? Does the Super 6 even exist now?

Props to Ward for taking this fight. Bika is one tough SOB. i'm sure Ward will have his work cut out for him.

That's the only way I could see there being a Super 6 finale, if Ward-Bika isn't a part of the 'tournament'.

nope they are going to the semis after this. 4 out of the 5 remaining boxers will make it. what an exclusive club.

                What *if* Bika beat Ward?

Do they still go ahead with the Ward-Abraham/Froch final?

Then the belts wouldn't be unified.

So Dirrell pulls out because of neurological issues and they make a fight where nuerological issues are highly likely for both men after it's over.
