Duran was quick as **** going in and had some of the best inside defense known to man. I think he would be able to make Floyd's night a nightmare.

See, unlike Leonard or Robinson, who would let floyd do his thing, but still beat him at it, Duran would smother Mayweather, while gently whispering in his ear about how he is gonna **** Floyd's mother after he is done with him.

I guess you're saying that Hearns only KO'ed 'not smart' fighters then?

And your evidence of him quitting against Leonard is enough to conclude he isn't smart? Him making Leonard fight his way in their first fight doesn't count anything? And what about him going 15 competitive rounds against Hagler?

Pretty good for a 'not smart' fighter isnt it?

anoyone saying Duran wasnt a smart fighter simply doesnt know what theyre talking about. He was not a brawler at all, but actually a kind of aggressive counter puncher that lured opponents to sleep and would then surprise shoot the right hand over the opponents' jab.

Hearns KOed champions from Welterweight to Cruiserweight. no shame in losing to him.

I don't see him having many victories if he faced that group. However, he'd be outsized in most of those bouts.

There's probably some one who can beat Floyd Mayweather Jr, but in this era he's 41-0.

To be fair here, he was smart but as soon as he fought some one who wasn't going toe to toe with him, he quit.

But I agree there's no shame in losing to a prime Hearns and prime Leonard. He also beat Leonard when Leonard went toe to toe with him so Duran is very good at his game.

Tommy Hearns is a ****** example. Welter is the highest weight Floyd can fight at, Tommy was a Light Heavy for a while.
In fact, all of the fighters on that list aside from Pernell are naturally much larger fighters than Floyd. Lets see that list of Junior Lightweights, Lightweights and Junior Welters that are his size.
