The Ring Magazine: Ten fighters that would pwn Money Maiiii

I had a glance through the current issue of The Ring magazine today. (Though considering how often Pacquaio is on the cover they should change the name to The Ping... right, Ping Ping fans?)

Anyway, they had an NSB-ish article in there today called "Ten Fighters That Would PWN Money Maiiii, lamo, PWN!"

I can't recall all ten - what's my name, Mr. ****ing Memory Man? - but here's a few:

    Sugar Rays (Leonard and Robinson)
    Aaron Pryor
    Thomas Hearns
Oscar De La Hoya (prime: bear in mind he had a competitive fight with an OLD version of DLH)
    Sweet Pea

I don't think there's anyway he could get past all 3 Ray Leonard, Aaron Pryor and Tommy Hearns. Potentially get past 1 or even 2, but no way he finds a way to match up all 3. Not to take your thread too seriously but a lanky puncher, a compact brawler and an all around boxer puncher of that caliber is too much. One would crack that code.

Sugar Ray Robinson would beat floyd imo
Thomas Hearns-maybe bcause of his size, power and speed
Sweet Pea-would give anyone in histroy around that weight a very hard time

the rest he beats including sugar ray lenord, his dad gave sugar a good fight with no power in his punches,i think floyd beats him, would of been a great fight though

          oh yea nice avi

in fairness to floyd, the 2 sugar rays, hearns and pryor were naturally bigger than him. they started their careers at 2 or 3 weights higher than floyd was. you can make a case for dela hoya and sweet pea.

All are tough match ups for Floyd.

But what people have to remember is Floyd's prime isn't and wasn't at Welterweight in relation to Leonard, De la Hoya, & Hearns, and Robinson (well, Middleweight too). Pryor and Sweat Pea would've been tough match ups for sure, but 140lbs would've been the best weight to fight at.

Truthfully, in each of those guys' primes, I don't think Floyd would jump that quick to get in there with them, particularly Hearns, Leonard, and Robinson.
