  • Comments Thread For: Tye Fields-Raymond Olubowale Tops November 19 Card

Heavyweight Tye Fields (42-2, 39KOs) will return on November 19 against Raymond Olubowale (8-4-1, 5KOs) at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Fields vs. Olubowale will be an eliminator for the Canadian heavyweight title. Fields wants to make Olubowale his third straight knockout victim. The upset minded Olubawale has avenged two of his four defeats. In his last outing, more than a year ago, he lost a six round decision to heavyweight prospect Yakup Saglam on an undercard showcase in Germany. [Click Here To Read More]

I've seen Olubowale fight here in BC. I remember he has a very good jab.

      Should be a decent fight.

I figured you would be excited to see Tye Fields fight some random bum.

You seem to support a lot of guys fighting subpar competition as long as they aren't named Klitschko.

the fight happens to be where he lives, so I think it's a matter of going to what cards are brought there.

Further, if you have an opportunity to see Tye Fields fight live and you pass on it, you my friend are missing out.

lol I remember seeing that fight between Olubowale and Yakup Saglam. That fight was robbery. Olubowale deserved to win that fight easily, if I remember correctly.

I support my local scene & tye fields lives here...why wouldn't I go? My favorites are journeyman like gavern & firtha...they both fought here as well.olumbawsli is former Canadian champ & cisse salif has fought here too.if the klits fought anywhere in Canada I would go like them or not...

Poor Tye. He is a sweet kid who can't fight a lick and is being built up for a quick payday.
