Is Bob Arum a promoter or what?

It's been a few months since this fight was announced with a month left to go, and hype for this fight outside of hardcore boxing circles is non-existent..

I remember the hype for Floyd-Mosley was huge.. they were everywhere, on every sports channel, every sports website, I saw a Who R U picking banner at the mall, There were gladiator commercials, I heard people talking about it on the radio, and they were at the super bowl hyping the fight.

Arum hasn't done a damn thing to sell this fight from what I can see...

You have to remember, the Mayweather vs Mosley fight was announced after the OST fiasco between Mayweather vs Pacquiao, which garnered mainstream attention.

Also, if I remember correctly, it was also around the time of the Superbowl and they both did several interviews for various networks on Superbowl Weekend.

    Wait 'til 24/7 rolls in.

Yep, I agree. Apparently his age has caught up with him already imo. It's time for his son to take over.

Bob fixed the fight already and now you want him to sell it as well , he is already getting paid from both while protecting his cash cow for the big finale Mannys last fight with Floyd send off , its scripted ordained bequethed whatever you want to call it , Pacs win is secured I,ll just call it fixed .

lol. I like Bob and all and all he's been doing in boxing were great. But the guy is almost 80 yrs old, he can still be a consultant though to his son but I think it's time for the young guys to step up. He deserves a break already.

If your not an ignorant troll, then you should know that Arum's son died in a hiking accident a week or so after this fight was confirmed.

Opps sorry, I was talking about Todd DuBoef his step son. John(RIP) wasn't active in boxing.

his son that died wasn't in the boxing business.

i'm sure he's not talking about him.

arum's step son? son in law? (not sure) is at top rank though.

but anyways , old or not , arum knows what he's doing.

i don't really give a **** about the casual fans nor do i give a **** about whether this fight does more or not.

i don't care how much promotion it gets.
