I noticed something in the Lacy-Reid fight the other night, and it was very similar to what I saw going on in the Hatton-Tzsyu fight.

Twice I saw Reid wink at his corner then commit a blatant foul. The first was a low blow thrown at close quarters while the ref was behind Lacy, the second was the heabutt that he got deducted for.

Hatton fouls an awful lot, too.

I admit, I haven't seen much British boxing in the past few years, but the 2 prominent fighters I have seen are both pretty free with the fouls. Is this an accepted thing in British boxing, or is it just these two guys? I've seen a few Calzaghe fights, and he seems pretty clean.

Again, please don't take this as a criticism of British boxing. I was just wondering if it was more acceptable to the British fans than the American ones.
How's it going vB? Haven't seen you around in a while.

Yeah thosew Brits are a bunch of dirty ass wankers.

    j/k

We're allowed to nut, elbow hit in balls even the odd knee and back slam, in fact if you don't commit a foul in every round you usually get disqualified in a british ring for not being 'street' enough
