I dont understand this he knows he has nothing to prove remarks? Well he would be proving he can beat Pacquio when noone seems to be able to. What does Pac have to prove now then?Comment

Nothing to prove? WTF? Are you gonna tell me he should retire than fight Pacquiao.
Pacquiao is the one who has nothing to prove. He is one who has exceeded expectations and achieved way beyond his
potential.Comment

Floyd somehow thinks he doesnt have to prove anything, and that is why he didnt fight cotto, Margarito and SSM years back. And that attitude has rubbed off onto his fans. And now Floyd has read what his fans say, he himself thinks he dont have to fight anyone. Its a vicious circle leading nowhere other than the road to where fights dont get made.Comment

he believes he has proven himself already, and is taking only the lucrative fights.Floyd somehow thinks he doesnt have to prove anything, and that is why he didnt fight cotto, Margarito and SSM years back. but he has an enormous ego, and doesn't like being considered second best.
which is the only reason why i still look forward to the Manny fight happening.Comment

its not dumb thinking its the truth they don't give Floyd credit for nothing a vicotry over Pac wouldn't move Floyd up everybody thinks Floyd is suppose to beat Pac anywaythats just some dumb thinking right there.
there are lots of boxers in the past with their '0' intact, yet they were never called ATGs. Pac is widely considered an ATG, so if Floyd does beat Pac, it will put him higher than Pac in the ATG list.
by not fighting Pac, it just means that he doesnt want to PROVE he's the best boxer this generation.
Oh, and you got it mixed up, if Pac wins/losses against Floyd, it wont make a difference in Pac's legacy. The fight will do more for FLOYD than it would do to Pac.Comment
