If Bute wouldn't have ducked Pascal, he'd have a fight lined up for January in the biggest fight in Canada's history. Now, he might have to try to settle for a fight against Jermain Taylor, Allan Green, or unless I'mm missing something Diaconu.

I like Bute, I think he is very talented. But am I the only one that thinks his opposition has been garbage? I mean Andrade was good but not really too skilled then he fights Miranda and now Brinkley. I think he really needs to step his game up, I understand the super six is going on but there has to be better comp out there then this. And now Danny Green? C'mon son, Danny Green!? Ridiculous.

This is a pretty easy match for Bute as Pavlik can't deal with any movement and has nothing without his immense weight and height advantages over opponents like he usually did at MW.
