I would not count out pavlik that easily, he has an annihilator punch. As long as pavlik will not forget his jabs, he will be in this fight if it happens. Bhops and martinez boxed him all night but he caught jermain who tried the do the same thing. First thing thou, he has to get his life together.

Bull. Taylor fought dumb as hell (backing up in straight lines), showed piss poor defense, and was exhausted as early as the 2nd round in their first fight.

What exactly happened to Pavlik? Was he always a step slow, but had good matchups? I mean, i just dont see how he became such a great fighter without any real athletic ability? lol. Am i wrong here?

pavlik has always been able to adapt to fighters...any pressure fighter with the volume pavlik used to throw with would beat anyone standing in front of him unless it were a middleweight version of floyd mayweather

I think it would be good match. Pavlik would be stronger and a little slower, but would have his rounds and He will test Ward's chin with his 1-2 at some point.
It really depends on Ward's execution and having the right plan to beat Pavlik.
If He has the right gameplan and follows through like He has, then He could pull the D.
But if He has a bad night, it could be Pavlik's come back to startum.
Ward has been right on his last few fights, but I'm sure Pavlik will come very gamed for what would be his last bit to the top.
I would like to see the fight either way.
