    According to the Los Angeles Times, junior welterweight Victor Ortiz (28-2-1, 22KOs) will face once-beaten Lamont Peterson (28-1, 14KOs) on December 11 as the HBO televised co-feature to Amir Khan's defense of the WBA title against Marcos Maidana. The doubleheader takes place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The only fighter to beat Peterson is WBO champion Timothy Bradley.

      That's a pretty good fight, might this be the end of the cold war? How long has it been since a Golden Boy fighter fought a Top Rank fighter?

        Whoa. That's an AMAZING card.

        Isn't Peterson Top Rank? Surprised they got Peterson on such short notice on a GBP card.

        Either way, I'm happy about it.

            I don't think Peterson is a Top Rank fighter. His contract expired and was not renewed.
