most boxers are entirely overpaid as it is. berto is making 1.25 million for his next disgraceful fight. bradley and alexander are only making 1.25 million each for fighting each other. i'd say they are all being overpaid in the grand scheme of things but berto is the worst by 1 million percent.
Is HBO making a mistake by not putting Bradley/Alexander on BAD (boxing after dark)?

These two will be fighting in a ballroom in front of 800 to 1000 people.
Yes, they should be knocked down to BAD, with the winner getting bumped up to HBO Championship Boxing status.Comment

I feel the same way. And even though I like watching these two fight, they never really made me stand up and cheer for them. Stand up and yell at the t.v., yes. Maybe this fight will be the coming out party for one of them (or both). Remember Gatti vs. Ward I was on BAD. I believe a few other good fights were too if we all remember. Was Terrible vs. Barrera a BAD also?
I wouldn't mind this at all...Comment

Your right its way too much but they only can make what the networks are willing to pay them and because they give fighters unknown outside of hardcore fans like Bradley and Alexander over a mill a piece we don't get as many fights when HBO's budget is blown.most boxers are entirely overpaid as it is. berto is making 1.25 million for his next disgraceful fight. bradley and alexander are only making 1.25 million each for fighting each other. i'd say they are all being overpaid in the grand scheme of things but berto is the worst by 1 million percent.Comment

This is coming from the guy who takes a jab at Cotto any time he can get, and your sensitive to this...
On topic... how is HBO over paying? Ortiz was already on B.A.D. and it isn't like they are the main event they're the undercard. If it was a B.A.D. card then they would have had to pay for an undercard for that fight on top of paying the announcers, camera crew, prouction staff and all that again. Besides, Khan will probably draw a bigger rating than a B.A.D. card would and it gets these guys more exposure. Thank God some of you guys aren't promoters boxing would be less popular than it is now.Comment

Well see we lose fights if fighters get paid to much though as there is only so much $$$ to go around in the budget.
I am glad though that this is going to happen.Comment
