    Top HEARTS pound for pound

Let's see some lists. I thought of mine while I was at work

    1. DIEGO CORRALES: he's never finished a fight anywhere but on his feet, demanding to continue. after his dad threw the towel in on him against Mayweather, Corrales NEVER SPOKE TO HIM AGAIN. that's how mad he was that fight was stopped. not speaking to your own dad! similar situation in his other loss with Casamayor. Corrales walks around the ring, cussing anybody and everybody because in his heart he knew he could beat Casamayor. he did it in the rematch. then he rallies in the greatest comeback in all of boxing history when, eyes sealed shut, he's dropped twice in a round but somehow comes back to knock Castillo out in the very same round. you will never find a fighter with more heart than Diego Corrales. any athlete for that matter.

    2. ARTURO GATTI: he's rallied to win some big fights that looked to be certain defeats and he has a BIG problem with a fight being stopped on him; however, even he's agreed enough is enough at times.

    3. FERNANDO VARGAS: he hasn't been asked to show it lately but he's been known for it his entire career. his performances against Trinidad and De La Hoya speak volumes about the nature of his character. he is "never say die" embodied.

    4. ERIK MORALES: he goes to war time and time again just because he has too much pride to back down. but he's also shown a great deal of heart to make it through all of those wars and he's NEVER been down (legitimately) in his entire career. he gets frustrated when he loses, sometimes behind consolation because in his heart he feels he believe he won. he beat Barrera in that 2nd fight. I'll never see it any other way.

    5. LAMON BREWSTER: some people call it showing chin, but I call it heart. he definitely showed it against Wladimir Klitschko and even when Kali Meehan had him reeling against the ropes. Brewster never quits and drew on his heart to stop Klitschko and hang onto his title against Meehan.

Some other fighters that deserve honorable mentions:
    JOSE LUIS CASTILLO
JESUS CHAVEZ (see his fight against Morales, fighting with one arm!)
JORGE RODRIGO BARRIOS (see his fight against Freitas, he's wiping blood on the referees shirt so he can see!)

This doesn't mean there aren't more fighters with heart out there, it just means they haven't been forced to show it yet

Basically the Mexicans show the most heart per capita, but that's cool.

I have not seen one world class Mexican fighter without heart...

DeLaHoya is not Mexican, he's mexican blooded, but isn't raised and don't live in Mexico...

that f..kg floyd/corrales fight was a gift to mayweather.how could any fighter knowing that his purse was court ordered to go to his ex and knowing he was going to go to jail, train and fight a career defining fight against a trashtalking hipocrite all be it great boxer *****boyfloyd.i'd like to see a rematch on level ground.castillo came close in the mayweather. and corrales can fight in more dimentions.the corrales/castillo rematch should prove my point.
                  2.gattis heart is out classed.
3.fernando looked too weird in last fight.he's going to need more than heart .
4.morales is an ******* against barerra but would need heart to beat a more expirienced pacman.
                  5. brewster...another heavyweight clown.but theres no one up there thats not a clown so i dont know.

                  IMO
