Donaire is barely going to be fight at bantamweight in his next fight against a guy who is not currently rated at bantamweight. He is not a top 2 at that division right now.

All depends on your taste, some people arent interested in watching grown men that weigh less than a plasma tv, fight. And theres like a lower weight class myth of no knockouts usually believed by the casual fan. So in a way your kinda right..

I'm excited for the tournament, but the top two fighters and Donaire aren't in it, so it takes some shine away. They will most likely be action fights though.

I'm not sure what to make of this casual/hardcore fan thing, as I'm not so sure there are many people on here who would watch obscure minimumweight title fights from Thailand if given the chance despite the fact they call themselves hardcore fans who watch fights below 126. Fact is, there are many weight classes, and keeping up on them all are difficult.
