    Tyson was mediocre....

I wsa on my daily drive to work this am listening to Colin Cowherd and he went on a rant how Mike Tyson was Mediocre at best. He rambled on stating he beat a bunch of bums and nobody's. He said that "when Tyson stepped up to the elite level he was 0-3. Lost to Holyfield twice and once to Lewis. According to Coward I mean Cowherd Tyson fought in an era when the HW div. was the weakest. I couldnt believe what he was saying because he holds the Klits so high on a pedistal.
I was sitting there thinking WOW. He must have forgot that Tyson served time in the pen and when he fought a prime Lewis he was past it. Im not saying he would beat Lewis prime for prime but I think it would have been a lot more cometitive.
I dont want to hear the whole ESPN sucks and blah blah blah
I want your opinions on what he said and if you agree with him.

Big Shout out to No Ceilings and his unranked Michigan Wolves!

          Tyson was anything but mediocre.

On his "tyson" dvd you see him when he's 16 years old, and he looks like a 25 year old man in his prime, i belive this is why he faded so quickly, he was just a genetic miracle, and he demonstated that in the ring too.

He did fight a lot of bums, but you could tell that in his prime he would've given any top HW in history a damn good fight.

Mike going to jail when he did messed up big fights with big names during the 90s era. Mike IMO was past it by the time he was let out of jail, but still had more than enough to be in a competitive fight.

I mean, look at the fights we potentially missed:

                Ri**** Bowe vs Mike Tyson
                George Foreman vs Mike Tyson
Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson (prime for prime)
Evander Holyfield vs Mike Tyson (prime for prime)
                Michael Moore vs Mike Tyson

18-19 year old Tyson wouldve killed anyone. Losing Cus and getting reamed in jail made him lose his edge. Who knows how he wouldve peaked if he don King didnt get so involved and Kevin rooney stayed in his corner.
