this format is good because it makes a guy have to win 2 big fights to get a title shot.boytsov has a real opportunity to make some waves as a viable challenger to wlad. he's got the power to knockout all 3 opponents.mormeck will be too old when a title fight actually happens.i see him possibly by-passing this & becoming wlads voluntary challenger in france.banks would really have to step up & get in better shape to have a chance to win this. i think he could beat mormeck & dimitrenko by knockout ,but im not sure if he can beat boytsov.if mormeck enters & fights , all of his fights would be in france & thats probably the best place for any of them to fight.the tourneys biggest purses will be in france.the problem is its almost certain you would have to knock mormeck out to win in france.fres oquendo as usual lost a decision on the road in france.dimitrenko has size & some skill but that questionable chin makes it hard for me to pick him but maybe he learned a few things in his loss.he does have the size to keep any of the others on the outside with his jab & has power.this really is an interesting tourament.i wonder what the first matchups will be? if mormeck gets home field advantage, he has a chance to win.he must be busy & avoid the big shot but it will be tough to beat him by decision in france.boytsov has yet to take on a big heavyweight who can punch back but he has power & youth on his side.each guy has a legit chance from what ive seen of the 4 of them.i look forward to these fights & my gut feeling is mormeck or boytsov wins this.i said earlier that i have a feeling mormeck by-passes the tourney so we will see how it turns out.

IBF to stage tournament to face Klitschko
Sunday, 10 October 2010 14:55
One of boxing's governing bodies, the IBF, plans to organise a four-fighter tournament with the winner facing world heavyweight champion Vladimir Klitschko, it was reported on Sunday.
The IBF are negotiating with the quartet of France's Jean-Marc Mormeck, America's Johnathon Banks, plus Russians Alexander Dimitrenko and Denis Boytsov.
The winners of the tournament would than face Klitschko, who has 55 victories, 49 knock-outs and three defeats, and holds the IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight belts.
Klitschko has defended his IBF title nine times, the latest when he knocked out Nigeria's Samuel Peter in the tenth round last month.
The Ukrainian's next fight is against undefeated British fighter Dereck Chisora in December.Last edited by The Hammer; 10-10-2010, 08:35 PM.

The site where they have news about fights is reporting that Boytsov has declined his invitation and will be replaced by Klitschko KO victim Eddie Chambers.
First round:
Dimitrenko v Banks
Chambers v Mormeck
I see Dimitrenko v Chambers II on the horizon, and Chambers will win it again... which will lead to Wlad v Chambers II.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
