Wow, people are really misguided here...

Cotto made $12+ million last Nov for a big event fight against Pac. Then his next fight was for a championship at 154 and a guaranteed $2 mil, at the new Yankee stadium, which turned out to be HBO's highest rated boxing event (Non PPV) of the year. Then he has a fight against Chavez Jr lined up which will be very high profile/lucrative, and on top of that he has the prospect of facing Pacquiao for another monster paycheck and championship opportunity next fall.

Yeah, you really have to wonder why Cotto stays with Arum when he gets treated like absolute ****. Only $14 million dollars and championship fights in Vegas, Yankees stadium, and possibly Dallas/Mexico/Abu Dhabi in the future for more millions?

I would drop Arum like a bad habit and go sign with DiBella or Shaw and fight at half-filled Indian Casinos against journeymen opponents if I was Miguel.

lol good shiet. Cotto can only be mad at Arum for supporting cheato, but then again, Arum's is cheato's promoter also.

they want Chavez/Cotto and I don't blame them. It's a pretty big fight on paper If Cotto wins, he will have a lot of momentum with two wins in a row and a legit 154 title. If Chavez wins he will finally have a good win and will be big money for any 154 pounder.

I read HBO really wants that fight in March. Mexico/PR always sells. I don't think Arum is pushing Cotto aside.

            I love Miguel Cotto

But come on, the dude already got smashed up by Pacquiao. Rematch is a bad idea. Nothing will change

As a Cotto fan he should have to beat one or two dangerous opponents at 147 or 154 before a Pac rematch should even be considered. I think the best fight at this point is a Margs rematch.

That's what I expect. Then, maybe, if ever, a Pac rematch.

But Junior and Cheato are a lock, unless Marg somehow wins.
