Comments Thread For: Bob Arum's Take on Manny Pacquiao vs Paul Williams

If Manny Pacquiao is able to get past Antonio Margarito on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Texas, the next logical step is a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. But with Mayweather's recent legal troubles, there is no way to predict when Floyd will be available.

The middleweight title Williams is fighting for is not a paper title.

I personally think Sergio is going to come out ahead in the Williams fight though.

this is it, arum is feeding pacman to the dogs!

marga-resto is even afraid to fight williams. arum should advise pacman to retire from the sport after the marga-resto fight.

if arum cant secure the pac-chicken floyd fight, then he should advise pac to retire. pacman has nothing to prove in boxing.

Not going to happen, and even the slim to none chance it does happen it won't be at 160.

The only way this fight would happen is if Williams takes a serious beating but ends up pulling out a win in the process, and it would have to be at a 150 pound catchweight for the middleweight title. Haha.

Fights are great but having these fights made in order to give Pacquiao an advantage is getting old and is a slap in the face to fairness. Creating these catch weights to make one fighter stronger and one weaker..cmon!

I always loved boxing because of the equal chance of two men to get a hard earned win. But this stuff of giving one man an advantage because of popularity or to break records is getting dumb.

I don't want to hear "the fighter don't have to sign to fight" either.... Floyd too makes demands on guys knowing they need the money more than him and will do it.

Williams is going to be too big for Pacquiao.
