Did Floyd come in overweight against Marquez on purpose?

Think about it.. Marquez is the absolute best fighter Floyd has fought since I can remember. I think Floyd was trying to get as many advantages as he possibly could, and the vacation he took might have just been something to throw us off, because he was in the gym everyday.

So he takes this dangerous, smart, skilled opponent, and he makes him go up to welterweight at a catch weight that's still 3 weight classes above anywhere he's ever fought.. and floyd has been in the sport since he was born, who's highest weight ever in the ring was 150 against oscar, amidst an extra 2 months of training because he hurt his shoulder... and he couldn't make the weight? Not just that he missed the weight, but he came in 2 pounds over- that's huge.. especially when marquez already has his head below the water.

Makes no sense. I think Floyd was so eager to prove that he was better than Pacquiao without fighting him that he pulled out all the stops on this fight.

He said that he weighed 145lbs on the morning of weigh in, then he went for a run then he weighed in at 146lbs.

Without question he had no intention of coming in at 144 or 143.

Makes perfect sense to me. That's what 1/2 pounds of Xylocaine injected into each of your hands would do.

                j/k

not that it would have made any difference, but of course he didn't make weight on purpose

however...Mayweather STYLE is what dominated JMM NOT HIS WEIGHT! They could have fought at 135-140 and I STILL don't think the fight would have been any different it would have still been Mayweather by UD

this fight was just a big pay day for JMM and a fight GBP and Mayweather knew would draw well
