What do you guys think Glen Johnson can do in this tournament?

Somebody clear me up on this. Does he need to stop Green in order to advance? I give him a chance to do damage in this thing to tell you the truth if he's not too drained. I don't think Abraham can beat him and I don't think Froch can either. That's just my honest opinion. Ward I don't think will be able to do that head butting and holding **** that he does because Johnson has a hard ass mug and he fights good on the inside too. I know some people were kind of turned off with his sour graping in the Cloud loss. But he complained about that because he obviously didn't get a fair shake with those 116-112 scores. If every fighter had the attitude of Johnson and the opposite of Dirrel's this tournament would've ran smooth as silk. That's why to me he is such an easy guy to root for.

    War Glencoffe Motha Fuckin Johnson.

      Ward would clown Johnson.
      Johnson beats Abraham or Froch.
      Johnson beats Green.

what tournament? oh......the super six. nothing imo. AA vs ward is the only logical thing left this train wreck has left to offer. it looked very good on paper, but the worst things possible happened.

too many unanswered questions for me.

          -Can he even make 168?

          -Will he still be effective?

-What kind of toll will losing the weight take on his 41 year old body?

-Will he have the same power/stamina/chin/workrate at 168?

These are all completely unknowns until he steps in the ring at that weight. Until then, everything is speculation.

But for what it's worth, I don't like guys over the age of 40 or past their best days, dropping down in weight. I think of Chris Byrd.

In my opinion, not much. That weight will be a problem.

It's cool seeing Iceta actually like a fighter instead of hating on them.

I think he overrates Johnson at this point in Johnson's career.

Johnson thinks he's won every fight he's ever been in, and he's eager to tell interviewers that every chance he gets.

After a while it sounds like a broken record.

All that said, I thought Green was the one who said he was drained after Ward schooled him.

I give Glencoffee a good chance to take a decision from Green.

Rest assured they both will have their excuses if they lose.

Johnson will say he was robbed, and Green will put the weight drained excuse out of his hat once again.

Didn't you see the Showtime Super six shows.

He trotted that excuse out immediately like he rehearsed it for weeks.

Glenn Johnson is one of the most overrated boxers of the last decade. People give him way too much love for being a tough sob. Talent wise he really doesn't have it and would get smoked by any of the real players(or former players) in the super six.
