After one of his defenses I saw a post fight presser where he was asked if he wanted Kessler next (that was before the supersix). Bute looked like he wet himself before answering (in french) "Errrrrmmmm..... there are other figters......errrrmmmm....."

Dirrell: Oganov, Findley, Froch, Abraham
Abraham: Simon, Oral, Taylor, Dirrell (soon to be Froch)
Taylor: Pavlik, Lacy, Froch, Abraham

Bute: Andrade x2, Zuniga, Miranda


Win or lose, i'm pretty sure the super-six has helped raised a better profile for all participants. Just look at the past few fights. It amazes me how Bute's name keeps getting thrown at the top based on his competition. Yeah, the man has skills....but until he steps into the ring with the calibre of competition the super-six brings, i'll just shake my head at those with a tight grip around Lucians ****.

on the other hand, the Super six participants also looked like ****en divas on many occasions, all of them, and now that the tourney is crumbling, well, it takes away some luster off the whole thing and its participants

before the tournament began, Bute had a better resume than Ward and Dirrell for sure, and we could make a case that he had a better resume than Froch too

Bute's name is still considered among the best because he got there before most Super six participants obviously

he was ranked no. 2 by the Ring magazine before Ward beat Kessler, and now, he is no. 1 (although I believe he should get dropped if Ward beats another man like AA)

Read my first post again please. I said an NSB duck. So it depends on how you interpret it.

Besides it is hard not to look at Pascal and not call that a duck and you know it.
