Have you been under a rock? Adamek said he is not ready for the Klitschkos this year and wants to fight them next year. You didn't hear that he has a fight planned with Madalonne next? Seriously man, it's called the internet, use it.

Given that he is one of the few fighters that are available and agreed to fight Wlad on December 11th for a stay-busy fight, that he is young, only 26 (unlike the 38-39 year olds Gaye has been fighting since moving to HW, oh come to think of it he was getting his @ss whooped by 40-year old MW and CWs back down in the lower divisions as well), undefeated, a Brit with a big mouth and nasty manners, and the fact that Wlad already fought twice this year against two mandatories, I think it's a great fight. Wlad is staying busy, will whoop on a big-mouth Brit, humilate Gaye... I think it's great.

It's always great to see one of the Klitschkos retire or humiliate another Brit fighter. Herbie Hide, Danny Williams, Lennox Lewis, now Wlad will destroy Del Boy and they both have Gaye running ****less scared.

Not happy about it to be honest, but I guess all the british fans want to see Audley get KTFOd.

Adamek said he doesn't want to fight Wlad this year because he's not ready, and has signed to fight a journeyman in December with a 33-6 record. Are you saying Wlad should just quit boxing until Adamek or Haye or Povetkin finally man up and agree to fight him? Chisora is a stay busy fight, which will give Wlad more exposure in the UK and increase the pressure on Haye to fight him. In any case, Chisora is ranked #14 by boxrec and is infinitely more credible than Audley, who is ranked #41. Plus Haye is fighting Audley in preference to fighting Wlad, whereas Wlad is fighting Chisora because Haye, Adamek and Povetkin have all refused to fight him this year.

As for Vitali, he also can't get any top contenders to fight him - Valuev and Haye both turned him down. Briggs is a joke fight but he couldn't get a serious opponent and at least Briggs was world class once and has a huge punch. Audley has never been and never will be even close to the fringes of being world class. Although Vitali could probably have got a more credible opponent than Briggs, such as perhaps Tony Thompson, Briggs is a bigger name, and Thompson's KO loss to Wlad would make it look like he's fighting Wlad's leftovers, so he's in a no-win situation really. But bottom line, he's fighting a joke fight because he can't get a top contender into the ring, whereas Haye is fighting a joke fight because he doesn't want to get into the ring with a top contender or with either of the K bros. And even Briggs is marginally more credible than Audley in any case. Audley recently lost to a cab driver, whereas Briggs even now knocks tomato cans like that out in one round.

Vitali's being ridiculous here. Haye certainly has the speed and power to win. What he doesn't have is a chin or any sort of mid to late round stamina, nor the sorts of boxing skills that would enable to him to win a decision. But speed and power? No, he has those in abundance.
