i dont know man i think he would just retire if he ever lost he just doesnt seem like the kind of fighter who could rebound from a loss like marquez or pacquiao

if floyd fought 3 x a year that would mean 3 great opponents in a 12 month calender....he would be tested lots

i could care less anymore about floyd fighting....lost ALL interest what so ever

There may be heaps of reasons, he's already rich, it may be a marketing influence fighting once a year, he knows he's a big star in the sport and so he can dictate when to fight, also his very brittle hands and he's also a prize fighter. Who cares really.. he's done all the hard work early in his career and probably feels there should be time to have a break etc, can't blame him really when he's already stated numerous times he's mainly fighting for money..

Because he let's his toughest opponents age and go to war. Then he hand picks his victims. Pretty intelligent if you ask me. Also cowardly, but intelligent.

its pretty complicated for floyd to fight the right man to fight, and even when he does fight them is usually when the fight is not as hot as it coulda been
megafights are what makes a fighter great and floyd needs to land one soon because honestly in his last "megafights" he was a +300 +400 favorite hardly a mega fight imo
Forget pacquiao that thing aint getting done Floyd needs to move on like pacman did and not prove because he has done that but gain popularity with wins instead of gaining it with legal troubles

Mayweather will always be a favourite even against Klitschko so get used to it.
Why he fights once a year is simple,he fights for money and makes more money than anyone else in boxing.He's a profit maximiser so no need for huge volumes but huge margins
