I agree. According to his own trainer he has not trained since the AA fight. He should have already been training for several weeks by now, when he had a fight scheduled (tentively) for Nov. 27th. If he was not training at all, it is quite clear that they had no intentions of actually fighting Ward. And, his weight is another tell-tell sign that they had no plans to go thru with this fight in November.
Remember what Ward said (in his post fight interview) after the Kessler fight - when he was asked how he felt about fighting his good friend and former teammate Dirrell he said '...we've been putting off thinking about it, and said we would deal with that bridge when we crossed it.' Well, they approached the bridge and now conveniently, don't have to cross it.
IMO it could have been any number of harder, more flush shots AA hit Dirrell with that night that could have caused neurological damage. No way to tell if it was that one punch or a combination of punches he's taken throughout his carreer (although admittedly he doesn't get hit as often as many pros do).
