    One punch can cause brain damage...but the shot Dirrell took from Abraham appeared to land on the chin to me, not the side of the head....

    I think Dirrell didn't see it coming and was caught clean which made him react the way he did...

      Then again, going by the "genius"-level threads that pop up from time to time, this board is full of board-certified lawyers, medical doctors, accountants, and financial advisors.

      Regarding the matter, I'll remain skeptical until more definitive evidence comes to light.

        If Dirrell has a serious brain injury it was more than likely something that came about over a prolonged period and no doubt the Abraham fight exasperated it but people are acting ridiculous over this incident. If the punch had landed when Dirrell was standing would there be such a public witch hunt? I think not.
