You have to count the excitement value of Evander. When he beat Tyson, everyone was happy ( except MikeTysonJr, he cried all night ). People rooted for Holydfield. Remember the fights with Tyson! Everyone cheered for Holy and in the second fight with Tyson no one cheered for Mike. He was boxer who held the world heavyweight title for most of the decade of the 90`s and this i think gets my vote. Lewis may have been better but Evander was 215 lbs, 6ft 2. He was the warrior, the over achiever, he is the man!

I don't rank greatness base on who the fans cheer for, its not a popularity contest. Like I said you can make a great argument for Holy, but I'm sticking with Lewis.
