Sorry Evander these guys were better boxers and better punchers.
I agree totally. Kind of hard to vote against the guy who beat the other two.

Potentialy Tyson, but as far as achivements Holyfield, 2 division champ, Undisputed Light Heavy weight champ and 3 or 4 time Heavy weight champ. Neither Lewis or Tyson come close to Holyfields achievements in pro boxing.

Lewis is terms of accomplishments (He has beaten both Tyson and Holyfield)

Tyson in terms of talent (Tyson 1986-89 had a mystic that was un matched)

Holyfield in terms of P4P ( Undisputed Champ at Cruiser and Heavyweight)

I think you mean Undisputed Cruiser weight champ.

He did. I know lewis is superior in accomplishments but i vote Holyfield. The fact that he came up the weight and competed with super large heavies and beat most of them in his prime, the guy had an awesome career. Yes lewis beat him but the second fight was very competative and he is the ultimate warrior.

You can make a great case for Holyfield but I would still pick Lewis. Like I said he is/should be 3-0 against both Tyson and Holyfield. He beat the next heir apparant in Vitali in his last fight and now Vitali is unversially recognised as the linear heavyweight champ. He also beat much better contenders than Holyfield and has beaten everyone he has faced.

Holyfield is a kinda fighter that is GOOD at everything but GREAT at nothing (excpet chin and heart). Good speed but not in the class as Ali or Tyson. Good power but not in the same class as Foreman, Shavers or even Lewis. Good hook, but its no Frazier or Tyson hook. Good technique but not in the class as Joe Louis. He lacks that a real weapon in which Tyson has (Speed and double handed power) and Lewis also has (Major power in cross and uppercut and size and reach.)

You have to count the excitement value of Evander. When he beat Tyson, everyone was happy ( except MikeTysonJr, he cried all night ). People rooted for Holydfield. Remember the fights with Tyson! Everyone cheered for Holy and in the second fight with Tyson no one cheered for Mike. He was boxer who held the world heavyweight title for most of the decade of the 90`s and this i think gets my vote. Lewis may have been better but Evander was 215 lbs, 6ft 2. He was the warrior, the over achiever, he is the man!
