I had the opportunty of seen Santo's connect with the quickest and most accurate left hook in front of Denise Restaurant in Isla Verde back in 2004. Too bad that it was against his girlfriend/wife and it was not in the ring but in the parking lot. Since then, I've not been a fan and don't care to see him fight..... not solely becuase of this incident but also due to his lack of charisma, excitement and dedication.

I personally don't care to see him again, not that he has anything left.

Agree completely. To think At one time I actually liked this guy. But he has no discipline what so ever. He should retire, all he will do if he continue to fight is ridicule himself.

i simply think Santos doesnt have the heart to box. He shouldnt come back n fight he wouldnt be able to beat a good middleweight i doubt hell beat a Paul Williams or Sergio Martinez or if hes feeling froggy jumping in the ring with Librado Andrade or Bute

A fighter with skills but so inconsistant, he will do good in one fight and disappear again for another year

I like DANIEL SANTOS and he can defeat SYLVESTER(also in GERMANY) without problems if he is mentally prepared;unfortunally he is the worst enemy of himself.
PIROG will give him more trouble but i'd bet on SANTOS!
STURM has the style not right for SANTOS,he's like DZINZIRUK(good jab and defense)
SERGIO MARTINEZ.......watching his last fights,he looks too hungry!

Daniel Santos had so much potential and so little acomplished. He's probably the boxer worse managed and promoter from the Island.
He needs to find a good trainer this time aroundin order to get back in the game and I give him good chances against Martinez. Santos beat Margarito in his prime and a few other good boxers as a jr mid and there's no reason why He couldn't make a good run as a mid.
His water training were not worth sht.
