Comments Thread For: Daniel Santos Preparing For a Middleweight Run in 2011

1996 Olympic bronze medal winner and former champion Daniel Santos (32-4-1, 23KOs) is preparing to return to the ring in early 2011. Gabriel Peņagaricano, the senior adviser to the fighter, tells Carlito Narvaez that there are several career options being discussed. After winning the WBA junior middleweight title from Joachim Alcine in July 2008, he was inactive and struggled to make weight for his next ring outing in November 2009 against Yuri Foreman, who won an easy decision.

he needs to hang them up. A true champ will not look like he did when he fought foreman in fact he embarrassed himself against foreman. and he looked gay as **** in some pictures from el nuevo dia where he was skipping in and out of some colored rings.. pathetic.

                Santos needs to retire!!!

Daniel Santos is a talented BUM!!! Sure he won the tittle 3 times, but he lost them all because he NEVER had enough drive to keep them! He is the kind of fighter who will shock the world, win a big fight and then party for a year!! Go HOME!!

Dude Santos isn't knocking Foreman out, it's not even probable he beats him, he isn't going to do anything big with his career unless he changes his attitude, first of all when he fought Foreman he interrupted Cintron's press conference calling Cintron a ***** and all but then he embarrasses himself in the Foreman fight getting dropped two times against a none puncher. He shouldn't return to the ring because he will embarrass himself again.

                    Foreman would beat him again.
