  • Bute Will Never Fight The Super 6 Winner.

There are a lot of posters on this site who excuse Bute's ducking of Pascal on the grounds that he is staying at 168 for the Super 6 winner.

But let's just say for one second that the Super 6 is over right now and Andre Ward is the winner.

What makes anybody in their right mind think that Bute is gonna leave Montreal to come to the United States to get his ass kicked by Ward?

What makes anyone think that Bute, after sitting around fighting bums for 5 years, has any right to even attempt to bring the fight to Montreal?

Why would Andre Ward, who has worked his ass off with 5 consecutive fights against the very best in the division, be willing to go out of his way to fight Bute who has sat around and done nothing to earn a shot at all the titles?

Why would Andre Ward even consider for 1 second going to a country where Marlon Wright screwed Librado Andrade out of a dramatic knockout win and where Canadian judge Jack Woodburn gave the final round of Dawson-Pascal to Pascal even though he was getting his ass kicked all over the ring?

I think people have gone nuts. Bute is never going to leave Montreal. By the same token Ward seems hesitant to leave Oakland... but it seems strange that the same people who cry about Ward not leaving the states seem to have no problem with Bute fighting only in Montreal.

Ward will have earned the title as Division's best when he wins the Super 6. There is no reason for him to make any concessions for a fight with Bute. Anyone who thinks Bute will leave Montreal to challenge himself... well you're nuts.

When Bute cries like a f@ggot about not wanting to leave Montreal Ward will just move up to 175 and beat up the guys like Pascal who Bute has been ducking.

If Bute ducks Ward HE will have to eat all the ducking hype, because He didn't want to fight this guys before and everybody is expecting him to fight the winner of the tour.
For his own good, He better think about avoiding Ward who will claim supremacy in HIS division.

there is no reason why bute should bring any fight to the states. fighting anybody from 168-175 would make the most money in montreal. nobody in those divisions is a draw like bute is in montreal. he'd be getting canadian PPV money, plus the gate, plus HBO money on top of the purse.

as for him moving up, i dunno why. he is right about one thing though. the super 6 is taking way too damn long.

this board is so ***in LAME!

Bute don't fight Pascal then turn around and setup a fight with a BUM...that is not considered Ducking for Bute but it would be considered Ducking for every other fighter lol

Bute is so damn OVERRATED! Dawson would beat him, everybody in the Super 6 would be him besides Allan Green, even old man Glen Johnson would give him a tough fight, maybe he is waiting for Kessler for something I don't know but when will he fight the BEST and stop picking up bull**** wins, OK he beat Andrade, Bike and Miranda...BIG ***IN DEAL! His resume is very AVERAGE, until he beats at least one of the fighters in that Super 6... BUTE IS OVERRATED!!!

Agreed I'm not sold on him at all. As far as I'm concerned he already got Kid by andrade. The fact he won that fight is total shenanigans, and also why he wont leave Montreal

Bute's white so lets excuse his ducking. While black fighters like Berto and Mayweather Jr. take heat for their ducking ways. Bute likes to fight fighters who have slow hand-speed compared to his own hand-speed, even though Bute fight night weighs the same as Pascal does. They are both about 190 pounds fight night even though Pascal fights at LHW.

Not only is Bute faster than his opponents he has been fighting at 168, but he is also a big ass super middle weight.
