So you guys honestly believe that Floyd can swallow the beatings Cotto took from Margarito and Pacquiao and triumph?

Theres nothing cool about taking batterings! Jesus, what is wrong with people. Cottos career has been on the slide since that battering- don't make out it's something to be proud of.

And people saying average or over-rated chin? Morons, seriously take your rose tinted blinkers off and give the guy some credit for once. Next you'll be saying his hand speed isn't that impressive or his defence is good but not that good

it's average, the average person can take more than one mosley shot, most of mosley's opponents eat those shots up for rounds on end till they can't any longer in the later rounds

Dude.. Margarito was a freak of nature pre-Mosley, he surely can't be the standard for chin testing in the WW division. Floyd's chin is no where near iron but I would say at least its around average. Those shots from Mosley didn't put him on shaky legs so I wouldn't say he was nearly going down, he usually smiles when he acknowledges the good shot and his opponent's attempt to follow it up .. he regained his composure fairly quickly.

Even IF Margarito is a freak of nature like you say, he took those punches for 9 rounds! non-stop! Floyd took two! just two! and had to hold on, his knees buckled, don't act like it didn't happen.

I'd say Floyd's chin ranks around the same as Cotto's. Cotto has taken big shots and wobbled the same as Floyd has, he just doesn't have the ability to defend in those situations and recover as good as Floyd does.

I don't know if he has a better chin than Cotto, he never gets hit enough to prove that, but when he does take shots he has always taken them well. I can't remember him ever legitimately being knocked down, the one time he might have was Judah but his foot was stepped on.

I would say above average .Margarito's was supposed to be iron and you seen what Mosley done to him .Even tho he's been rocked still never been dropped .Mosley Mora on the other hand .Mosley's 39 man and that was his first fight at 154 so at that age it's going to be hard taking power up especially since he started at lightweight and coming off a loss to Floyd.

We came to the conclusion as a forum that he has a better chin than Cotto, so please vote in this poll.

he has an average chin in my opinion, and no way he has better chin than cotto. that shots that he took from mosley, cotto was taking them all night long and never was rocked like floyd, but floyd never loses composure after he getting hit, he knows how to act in certain situations.

Floyd has fought HITTERS and took them all out. People saying his chin aint been tested cuz he hasnt fought cotto, Margarito, or whoever. Cotto and Margarito are NOT BIG HITTERS. They out work or take a toll on their opponents and FLoyd is a gym rat, there's no way Cotto or Margarito could withstand 12 rounds with FLoyd because his style is hit and dont be hit and theres is hit me and i'll hit you, which floyd is WAYYYYY more accurate then those guys.

Floyds chin is IRON. He's been hit with big shots from chavez, Chop Chop, Marquez, Mosley etc. He has fought big body punchers like castilo, corrales, hatton etc. Thing is, no matter how big of a puncher they are, they have to have a target to HIT and Floyd never presents that target.

I rather have a good chin thats never hit, then a good chin that gets broken down over time.

The current number 1 P4P fighter has an okay chin but his BODY IS WEAK as hell...ko twice with a body shot.
