Would a KO win over Rafa put Juanma above Cotto on the PR ATG List?

This brings up a good question... Which fighters make up the PR ATG list and where is Cotto rated among them?

Taking nothing away from Cotto, he is not even top 10 among the ATG PR list. Not with names like Esteban Dejesus(only man to beat Duran at LW), Wilfred Benitez, Jose Torres, Carlos Ortiz(murdered Pinoy Flash Elorde twice), Wilfredo Gomez, Samuel Serrano(defended his Super FW title like 13 times), Hector Camacho( never knocked out in like 90 fights beat guys like Rosario, Ramirez, Pazienza, Mancini, Limon,Haugen, Duran, Leonard among others. Also went the distance with both Trinidad and Chavez. Camacho won titles in 7 divisions even if some are paper titles, to win that much > Cotto.
Sixto Escobar, WIlfredo Vasquez, and even Carlos DeLeon achived more at Cruiser. Pedro Montanez another > Cotto.

If Juan beats Marquez he is neck and neck, but needs one more major win.

Miguel Cotto is not even top 10 PR ATG. END THREAD, HAGLERSTEELCHIN has spoken.

Cool info HSC, how would u rank the fighters u just mentioned on a PR ATG list? Where would Cotto fit in beyond the top 10? And how close is Juanma to reaching Cotto?

He won 2 of the fights relatively easily and should've been awarded the third but was robbed.

The only one who experienced death was Vazquez and his career.

And no, Cotto has done much moar than Juanma at this point.

Juanma's defense is as good as Margarito's. But he is missing the granite chin to go with it.
