Williams is not a good boxer in the least. And he has no footwork. His only hope would be to overwhelm Pacquiao with punches, but in order to do that he would have to catch him and then magically develop the speed to stop him from getting in and landing lightning quick, powerful bombs. I don't think Paul's ribs and chin would hold up to Pac at 147.

As Pac has and will continue to prove, a height and reach difference doesn't mean **** to him. And if you don't have the ability to get out of the way of his bombs and deal with his speed and movement, you're going to taste the canvas or see a white towel waving towards you.

Because Paul doesn't hold any LMW belts, and he's already on record that he wants his next fight to be at 147.

And Pacquiao is about to step in the ring with a guy who is 5'11" and he's sparring, and reportedly beating up, 6-footers who are LMW and MW contenders.

How Pac does against Margarito will determine whether Pac-Williams happens, much in the way that Roach/Arum felt comfortable putting Pac in with the massive Clottey with no CWs after the demolition of Cotto at 145.
