Why does Gomez get a chance to fight Chavez Jr? Gomez sucks!!! He's always getting his ass kicked. Cotto kicked his ass without breaking a sweat. So If Chavez defeats Gomez, it doesn't really say anything about Chavez Jr cause Gomez is a bum. I don't get the logic of putting Chavez Jr to fight Gomez. It's a **** fight and it doesn't really offer a legitimate challenge to Chavez Jr.

These promoter really think that the fans are ******. They just want to give Chavez Jr a tune fight before Cotto to create a bit of hype and give Cotto sometime to heal the surgery that he had on his shoulder.... Cotto will destroy Chavez Jr anyways.... It's a nice payday for Cotto..
