Floyd is Faster than Marquez is at Welter than marquez is at Lightweight. A lot of fighters fall into fighting Pacs fight, I do not think Floyd would allow that to happen. He has better defense then Marquez, is Smarter & Quicker even at Welterweight. Pac is one of the Most Physically gifted fighters ever but he is not the smartest and boxing is 90% Mental. Brute force will not win him this fight.
Though I disagree with some aspects and intention of this video, I will post it anyway. It shows Marquez's counterpunching:

Pac + Roach is pretty smart, and they have been getting a lot smarter with each recent fight. Roach would give him the perfect game plan if they ever fight, and Pac is very good at sticking to Roach's game plans these days. His footwork has improved beyond recognition in the last 3 years. Floyd's shoulder roll defence is very vulnerable to southpaws. Floyd would be the favourite but not a big favourite. It's close to being a pick 'em fight.

Yes this Vid Shows some of manny's flaws but I think its well known that Manny has improved a lot since then. So I dont think it will be as easy for floyd to hit manny like that but I don't think manny will have the oppurtunities to hit Floyd the way he was hitting Marquez Niether.

I agree with you to a certain extent but what if their gameplan is not perfect and what happens when floyd adjusts? Can Manny Adapt with him?

Honestly man......Floyd's adjustments are vastly overrated.

Will Floyd adjust enough and will he adjust quickly enough? He didn't in the first Castillo fight, in which he was lucky to get the decision. And part of Manny's gameplan is likely to be hitting Floyd's shoulders hard and often, which can be very tiring for the opponent's arms if you do it right. Will that slow Floyd down?

Depends who is doing the rating. You can't deny that he is very good at adjusting to an opponent's style. He almost never loses a round in the second half of a fight. The first Castillo fight is an exception, but even then, he did better in the second half of the fight than in the first half, and he figured out Castillo's style completely in the rematch and completely dominated the second half of their second fight.

I don't think that Pac is the same fighter that he was back then. Floyd could outbox pac, but pac uses his legs and angles a lot more smarter now. Pac to me is slightly slower, but gained more composure, accuracy, smarter footwork and more power. Floyd will deal with someone that is equalmto him jn many areas abd surpases him in some. Pac has the same issue too of facig someone that is superior to him in some areas. Pac has pretty much had a worse defence than many of his opponents, but floyd will face someone that attacks fast, accurate and come from
Amgles that his eyes won't see.

These are the questions we will never know the answer to untill they finally get in the ring. Floyd should be the favorite though.

The Reason why I believe Floyd would beat PacMan if they ever fight is because Marquez has already shown a way to be effective against Pac. I think Floyd will easily mimmic that style perfectly and even better without making the mistakes Marquez has. The problem with Marquez is he would box beautifully but then get carries away and get caught up in a brawl with PAC and then get caught. Floyd it to smart to let PAC fight the fight that he would want. Floyd will play it real safe and easily cruise to a UD using the same style Marquez has without making the mistakes. PAC will not bring out a macho man type style out of Floyd at any point in the fight to catch him and that's pacs only chance but it will never come. I'm not a fan of either fighter but this is just how I think the fight will go. Mayweather UD and he will boast how he beat the living he'll out of PAC but really only winning a UD by playing it safe. Either way a win is a win and it would be a huge one for Floyd no matter how he wins.

You can't really compare the pac that fought Marquez to today's Pac. I think he really improved a lot since the last Marquez fight.
