First off Dawson isn't popular but his fight with Pascal did good ratings on HBO. He is getting a championship fight because he is a very talented fighter and people realize this. Boxing fans always ***** the best don't fight the best but then Dawson fights Pascal and you ***** that he doesn't deserve a title shot. Yeah, he lost to a good fighter but he still fought a good fight at the end and is still better than most fighters in the world. If we follow what you're preaching no one will want to take on tough fights.

I would LOVE to see this fight even though I think Dawson would out-box him for 12 rounds, but still Cloud has heart and determination and will be stalking Dawson all 12 Rounds so it could make for a great fight

hope they get in done, Dawson is still the best fighter at 175 IMO, if fights Pascal again he will DESTROY HIM IMO as much I was happy for Pascal when he won, I think that lost against Pascal will turn Dawson into a MONSTER and you will see a much more aggressive Dawson Offensively for the rest of his career, needs to show more personality and talk a little trash though
