Hernandez actually has wins over decent names like Jesus Soto Karass, Ben Tackie, Demarcus Corley. Jones hasn't fought anybody at all.

I hope Hernandez stops him, I am sick of Berto holding that belt hostage and defending it against 140lbers.

yeah but in Hernandez' defense he has improved a lot since then

granted I still think he is still way too basic to give Berto much issue but he has genuine pop and if he can stay in the fight it could get interesting

Karass is overrated and the other 2 are washed up. hernandez is nowhere near bertos level and really doesnt have devastating power for the amount of stoppages he has. he is getting KTFO!

They need to take that green belt from Berto already. When is he gonna become relevant?

Did you actually suggest that MMA is more popular b/c their top fighters make less? That sounds like an oxymoron. It is evidence that in reality boxing is more popular. Fans are willing to pay more for it, therefore the fighters in boxing make more money.
No its because UFC can afford to do monthly PPV's and do a bunch of UFC/WEC/****E TV shows each year.

The reason we havent had any good boxing this month or hell even this year? Because these twats want so much goddamn money that HBO cant afford to put on any shows because people like Al Hymen have dirt on them and extort them to pay his price.

Berto is getting a million to fight on a undercard. He has no fans and no drawing power. It doesnt matter how talented you are but if you dont bring any fans to watch then you dont deserve a million dollars.

For a million HBO couldve gave us a good HBO B.A.D card instead of it going to a joker like Berto.

Now do you see why MMA is picking up ground? Because Boxing got too comfortable and thought they were unstopable making easy money but now when they have NO cash and have to pay bums like Berto a mil for a fight then we aint gonna see too many good cards in a year compared to MMA which every month you can get 1-2 good PPV cards.

Berto is protected like being behind bullet proof glass. Hate how HBO feeds this kid with a silver spoon. I half assed aint mad at him. If I was paid 1.5 million to fight a bum like that, I'd take my cheese and be happy. And I'd also use it as a bargaining chip in negotiations with other fighters like he's doing. He aint gonna take any less than that to fight someone like Mosley. So how can you blame him. Still hate his guts though and his moaning whenever he throws punches.

roberto garcia had this guy all but knocked out before he was saved by a head clash making it a no contest. even margarito's tune ups are better than berto's fights.

Jason Litzau would beat Hernandez regardless of weight.
