what is Hernandez biggest win??? Knocking Out a washed up DeMarcus Corley??? he had problems with Golden Johnson speed and was out-boxed by him, granted it was 5 years ago but that was the same the same Golden Johnson that Margarito KO's in 1 Round, the same Golden Johnson that Vivian Harris KO's in 4 Rounds

it is nothing wrong with having pride in your own...but a lot of time PRIDE BRINGS OUT IGNORANCE especially when you just start picking ANYONE or ANY FIGHTER simply because of RACE

sure I am a big fan of Lara, not just because he is CUBAN but because he is a GOOD SKILLED YOUNG FIGHTER with a great future, but UNLIKE MOST I am a big fan of BOXING FIRST! for example I can admit that I think Celestino Caballero would probably beat Yuriorkis Gamboa right now, would I still cheer for Gamboa??? YEAH but I am not going to jump on Boxing Forums and start to Disrespect Caballero and try to downgrade him and try to convince others that he is "Not that good" like many are doing to Berto lol

How is Berto making 1.25million? HBO is crazy to pay him that much for a undercard fight, this guy is a BUM who cant draw 900 people and no fanbase, why are they paying him 1million too much? This dude deserves 200k MAX.

This is why MMA is getting so popular because their top earners make 500k MAX purse and might get a bonus and thats only 1-2 people.

Most make 20-60k without bonuses.

Yet boxing is paying a clown like berto over 1.2m, for 1.2m you could get tons of good mexican/american fighters that will put on WARS.

Good point, I'd rather watch a sport where the fighters are under paid and taken advantage of.

Did you actually suggest that MMA is more popular b/c their top fighters make less? That sounds like an oxymoron. It is evidence that in reality boxing is more popular. Fans are willing to pay more for it, therefore the fighters in boxing make more money.
