the title is just a manifestation of the corruption in boxing. wbc offered the vacant title eventhough they know both fighters are not rated in that weight and the fight will be at catchweight. it make no sense at all but everyone knows wbc is just after the fat sanctioning fees.
anyway this fight is going to be a war...i'll be watching it without the title in mind.

BTW the Gans fight you mention wasn't for the title, so it's not really the same. Leonard - Lalonde was though and the draining definetely affected the golden boy. That was a lame catchweight fight designed only to give Leonard 5 titles.

Its only a problem when pac uses it. Opponents are only damaged by catcwegights when its pac's opponents.
