You are absolutely correct my friend. I'm a big cotto fan, me being puerto rican, but giving respect to who deserves it...I always state that cotto's only legitimate loss was to MANNY PACQUIAO, the current p4p best fighter in the world. It's crazy to judge anyone on one fight, especially when they had been caught trying to cheat minutes before the fight started, and therefore couldn't possibly have been fully focussed on the fight. Plus styles make fights anyway.

I have heard the "Margarito was distracted" story..... and I don't buy it.

I watched the start of the fight again specifically for that reason.

During the announcements, Margarito looked fully focused and confident, as do his team.

By the time I got to the point during round 1 where Marg was smiling at Mosley..... I had completely discounted the "distracted" theory.

Also, he had his moments (fleetingly) during the early parts of that fight.

" Styles make fights " is a far more likely explanation as to why Margarito got creamed..... oh, that and the fact that he could not break Shane down, and had no plaster to finish him off during the second half of the fight.

It was not just one fight either.

Marg looked completely different against Garcia.
