When Floyd came back from retirement he beat the #2 p4p fighter, Marquez. Months later FLoyd turned around and beat the WW champ Shane Mosley who was rated #3 P4P in the world. Yahoo sports and other boxing officials rated Mayweather P4P # 1 in june and he is still listed P4P # 1 on this site (boxingscene). Once Pac signed to face Margarito, yahoo sports put Pac as P4P #1??? I'm not understanding how that is.

its simple really, Pac was number 1 since floyd went and nobody has defeated him since, unless pac loses or retires, he will keep the number 1 spot.

Hasnt floyd fought GB fighters which are his stable mates for his last 4-5 fights? off the top of my ahead oscar, hatton, marquez and mosley. all golden boy in house fights

Floyd retired, Manny got the spot, and then secured it before Floyd came back by beating DLH and Hatton in good fashion. Floyd came back, beat JMM in a tune up (not a huge win for him, just a good name) and then beat Shane in good fashion, the guy people wanted him to fight if not Manny. But whilst this happened, Manny beat Cotto in good fashion and then beat Clottey... the reason Floyd hasn't taken the spot from Manny is because Manny hasn't done anything were he deserves to lose it.

Well, Margo has been ranked 6 or 7 on the P4P list (might have even been higher (5) can't remember)...
