Bunch of haters. He is the bigger name. If Gomez wants the payday he must make the sacrafice. I dont see you hating on Manny when he makes everyone come down below their weight, and even below the devision limit. Whats worst fighting a smaller fighter that has the chance to bulk up, or fighting a heavier fighter thats weak because of killing himself trying to make weight.

First off, WAY easier to fight someone smaller than you. A bigger guy can hydrate to being MUCH bigger. A small guy can't suddenly gain 10 pounds of muscle. Not to mention what's Gomez going to grow in height?

He's 3 inches shorter and with a 4 inch reach advantage.

Secondly, it not hating. It's having the brains to realize Jr has done very very little to show he is a world championship level boxer.

If he needs a 157 catchweight to fight a welterweight clubfighter, lets not pretend that Junior is anything less than a middleweight anymore.
