Khan will take this fight because he know he's not going to get knocked out!

but it is funny all these bums calling out Khan, they are just looking for a easy payday riding Khan's big name. Where is the fight going to be at the local Gypsy caravan park?
If he has feather fist look at his record, his last 5 fights were title fights which he won, all by KO I may add.

yep he doesnt have much power, but tbf he has stopped his last 5 opponents, which is 100% of them in british and euro title fights. He's not a big hitter, but he is accurate and quick (not Khan quick but quick for euro level) so he can get his opponents out of there but its rare for him really hurt guys with one opunch (although he has done it). He's outboxes his opponents.

Oh and if its in ireland (it would be in england if its made, but IF) it wont be at a gypsy caravan park, Paul had more people in his last fight in belfast that Bradley can get even with giving tickets away.

Regardless if his last 5 fights had KO. You can tell who is a puncher and who is not from the first fights of someone's career because they fight bums. He wasnt able to KO them which shows he cant finish people off with big punches.

Im guessing the last 5 fights with KO were long round fights? Where he was able to wear down his opponents instead of doing a 3 punch combo and KO'ing someone.

so that means in his first 15 fights he had 7 KO's? I think even Paulie had that much

edit: Just saw his boxrec, the only KO that he has in the first round is against a guy who's 1-8 which is a joke anyways

Looking from his BoxRec he is still fighting C level fighters and getting KO's in the Late Rounds, when they are gassed or wore down, I dont see much early stoppages even when he was fighting guys like 19-55 (took him full rounds)

A heavy puncher will have tons of KO's in his first 20-30 fights

Look at Maidana's Boxrec to see what I mean or Floyd's

no no no, your looking at it all the wrong way mate, he is gaining power, he is growing into the weight, so, thats whats happening, thats why we are seeing more more recent, KO's by McCloskey. The record is just a record you got to open your eyes and look at whats happening.

KOTELNIK lost the title vs KHAN but he defeated MAIDANA and he's been robbed vs ALEXANDER!!!KOTELNIK vs ORTIZ can be a very good fight,ORTIZ will win because KOTELNIK(great tecnique) has not power in his hands, this is the only reason ORTIZ take this fight!!!
McCloskey can't survive 4 rounds vs ORTIZ.

i didnt say he was a big hitter, i said he doesnt have much pop but is able to outbox his opponents and catch them with quick accurate shots. you dont need a big punch to win fights. U just need enough to get your opponents repsect, which he has.

Its not because he is Irish that we think he deserves a shot, Its more like its harder to get a shot because he's Irish.

                  It makes sense to me.
                  No????
tbf to Kotelnik he got screwed by the judges v Alexander, he deserves another big fight. Kotelnik v Ortiz should be a good fight.

no way Khan fights in Dublin, any fights he has on this side of the atlantic will be in the mainland UK.

If it was ireland it would be dublin or the odyssey, cant see it being in the kings hall, but if its made Khan will want a home fight

hey come on who the hell enjoys watching Kotelnik fight, he is so defensive, He is effective, but his style is not beautiful by a long shot. Ortiz vrs McCloskey would be amazing, it really would, It would be a real tester for McCloskey.
Its so hard for Irish fighters to get recognition. Matthew Macklin is another fighter that deserves a shot at someone, but the irish fighters have to linger around fighting european level oponents for too long. You McCloskey promoter is a irish guy called Peters, so he cant get the big fights. All those other guys like Ortiz and Kotelnik have the top promoters, (Golden boy, top rank, and King)
I am so pissed that McCloskey is still fighting european level fighters
