Like Bruce I also had Mayweather winning the 1st 5 rounds, I'm kind of stunned a little though. Alot of those punches I thought Castillo landed actually missed lookin' at the slow motion.

When I first watched the fight I saw Castillo swinging a lot and not hitting **** a lot. Compubox for whatever reason was giving him a lot of credit for hitting glove.

Castillo put on a lot of pressure and dominated a few rounds, but when it came to exchanges Floyd just got the better of him more often than not. Watch it with the commentary off.

When i was a die hard Floyd fan i watched this fight a few months ago to see what i thought.


Honestly....honestly i thought that Castillo won this fight. He was the better man that night. And he should have got the victory. I think anyone who thinks otherwise really should watch the tape....and before watching the tape take off the lens of being Floyd's fan.

Ahh another Castillo-Mayweather thread trying to imply something. Can't believe I have to post this again, but here it goes:

I just watched the fight and here is how I scored it:

Round 1 - Floyd 10-9
Round 2 - Floyd 10-9
Round 3 - Floyd 10-9
Round 4 - Castillo 9-10
Round 5 - Floyd 10-9
Round 6 - Castillo 9-10
Round 7 - Castillo 9-10
Round 8 - Floyd 10-8 - Ref took away point from Castillo and Floyd was winning the Round.

Round 9 - Floyd 10-9
Round 10 - 9-9 - Ref took away point from Floyd and it was his best round of the fight.
Round 11 - Castillo 9-10 - Floyd stood right in front of him and they traded body shots. Castillo got the better of it.

Round 12 - Castillo 9-10 Castillo's most active round. He threw alot of combinations. His best round.

TOTAL = 114-112

6 rounds to 5 and 1 even.

Saying that Castillo clearly or absolutely got robbed and that Floyd should have lost, is a Lie. A lie repeated over and over again by overzealous Floyd detractors who are desperate to see him lose and cling on to this one time where things were very competitive and close.

good scorecard. The hardest rds to score are rds 10 and 11. I thought Castillo lost the first 5 rds....he didn't land anything clean or meaningful in those rds, but he was gradually timing Floyd and figuring out what to do.....for the most part from rds 1 to 5 Castillo get's closer and closer to winning the rds as each one goes past, until he wins the 6th rd in a close one. He clearly takes rd 7.

Round 10 - hard rd to score. I think it's acceptable to score it a 9-9 draw or 10-8 for Castillo.

Round 11 - Again a close rd.....but i actually had Floyd winning rd 11. Once he works into the pocket the work he puts in from 1:16 onwards is masterful. Castillo still lands a few good bodyshots...but Floyd is ripping him. Listen to the punches....they even sound different. Floyd landed ther cleaner harder stuff in the second half of this rd....he even backs Castillo off him at one point.

Round 12 - Castillo 9-10 Castillo clearly.


So i agree that Floyd won this fight.....Castillo did much much better in the 2nd half of the fight, but didn't do anything early. The reason ******s maintain he was robbed is because of the scorecards which were too generous in Floyd's favour. The same tools who think Castillo was "CLEARLY" robbed in this fight are the same losers who say ODLH was robbed against Floyd.

when I first saw this fight I thought Floyd had got a gift decision.....glad he took the rematch and set **** str8.....I STILL think Castillo won that but after watchin' Blitz's vids on this I got to see how good Floyd's reflexes REALLY are.....that mofo is unreal.....props to Floyd for that 11th round as well.....he FOUGHT that round like a man who had to bite down....now you can see why Floyd may have chose to not fight Marg
