Gatti can beat Maussa and hes got a good chance at beating Cotto. When you say "that must be joke" Im guessing you think Gatti would lose to Cotto and if thats what you think....be serious Cotto is good but not that good that he would blow Gatti away.

Gatti and Cotto will both come in weighing 17lbs over and both be very sluggish. It would turn into a war though Cotto should have enough boxing skills to fend off Gatti. Yet Cotto has never been in a war that Gatti can put you through if he goes back to brawling. Though if his last few fights were any evidence, Gatti seems to not want to go back to brawling anymore and rather box his way to victory. Of course he couldn't against Mayweather though who the hell could? We weren't expecting Gatti to win that minus an amazing shot punchers chance, which didn't happen.

What preformances are you basing Cotto or Mausa could beat Gatti? What when Cotto was saved in PR by the ref against Chop or the hyped up fights of his revenge against people who beat him in the ametures? Or that garbage ass fight when Harris punched him self out and and got a running drop punch to top it off? Im not saying Gatti is P4P material but basing him on his last performance anybody in the 140 division would look like a B class fighter fighting Mayweather.
