i think he could if he went after Carlos Maussa or If Cotto loses he could try and beat Branco again

I dont know i think he breaks his hand round 6 against maussa and maussa is still standing gatti goes the harris way.

I do think that he would have less of a hard time against maussa than against Judah or Margarito since he did announce he is going to 147.

Gatti will be seriously exposed at 147.

Exposed as what? The only thing he's known as is an exciting fighter and a brawler who can take a beating. He's not a fraud in any of those regards. Everyone knows he's not a top five fighter. There's plenty of guys that have styles that will beat him, and when he moves up he's going to have to be even more careful. You have to be a fraud to be exposed, and Gatti is not a fraud. People know exactly what he is.

Never measure a fighter by the legends they lose to, only the fights they have had, and the wars they have either won or survived through; is how I see it. Gatti could still be a force behind Hatton in the 140lb weight division; if he could make the weight. Truth is, Floyd is so good it is insane and like I said a month ago Mayweather is the only true undisputed P4P king after Roy. Hopkins helped out by not taking out Taylor as he probably could have, but regardless, a loss like in Toney vs. Roy jr, for Toney didn't stop him from growing, and I don't think it'll stop Gatti either. The guy fights to win against the best and will not quit, and I don't see him quitting vs anyone ever, but watch Cotto, I wouldn't bet against him aside from Floyd.

no i dont believe he can get a title now, he has been in the sport long enuff and has been in too many bloody battles, he should retire while he is in one piece.

gatti is a B fighter who got pushed into icon class because of his exciting fights and brawling style.

Gatti has no chance of winning a belt at 140 because he has announced he will no longer fight at 140. It's that simple. He's going to 147...
